A self-described scammer based in Nigeria has claimed responsibility for a failed attempt to auction off Elvis Presley's iconic Graceland property. Earlier this month, a mysterious company, Naussany Investments and Private Lending, contacted Promenade Trust, which oversees the Memphis estate, alleging it owed millions for failing to repay a loan. The plot, which ultimately failed in court, was described by the purported ringleader as a scam, rather than a legitimate attempt to collect on a debt.
