Three men have been charged in connection with a $2.2M e-tag fraud scheme in NSW, Australia. The Financial Crimes Squad detectives, who established Strike Force Aratula, investigated an organised criminal network selling e-tags linked to fraudulent payment methods, such as fake credit cards obtained on the dark web. The majority of the 800 fraudulent e-tags were sold to taxi drivers.
