700 locals in Dungannon, Co Tyrone lost phone and broadband services after a large quantity of copper telephone cable was stolen in the early hours of Tuesday. Police discovered over a quarter mile of cable missing near Clonfeacle Road, between Benburb and Blackwatertown. The damage will cost a substantial amount to fix and leave the community without essential communication services.
