Kota police have partnered with Meta to monitor Facebook and Instagram for students exhibiting suicidal tendencies, aiming to prevent student suicides in the coaching hub. This initiative has already prevented a suicide attempt in the city, where 26 student suicides were reported in 2023. Under the collaboration, Meta will share information from the entire state of Rajasthan, with a dedicated team working in shifts to monitor red-flag indicators.
