54% of European CEOs expect the relationship between Europe and China to worsen over the next three years, mainly due to challenges in trade and the geopolitical climate. The US-China relationship, de-risking, and industrial overcapacity were identified as the top friction points. Despite this, CEOs expressed more optimism about the business environment than six months ago, mostly due to better outlooks outside of Europe.
