18 wards in Dhaka's two city corporations are at high risk of dengue, according to a survey by the DGHS. High-density Aedes larvae were found in 29 wards of Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) and 12 wards in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), raising concerns ahead of monsoon season. A survey conducted from April 17 to April 26 on 3,152 houses in 99 wards found Aedes mosquito larvae in 463 houses.
