China enhances Pakistan's defense along LoC in Jammu and Kashmir over 3 years, installing advanced systems and equipment to support CPEC investments.
China has bolstered Pakistan's defense capabilities along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir over the past three years. Support includes steelhead bunker construction, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and Combat Aerial Vehicles provision, encrypted communication tower installation, and underground fiber cable laying. Advanced radar systems like 'JY' and 'HGR' series have been deployed for target detection, and the presence of the SH-15, a Chinese 155mm truck-mounted howitzer gun, has been noticed. This move is seen as an attempt to strengthen China's ties with Pakistan and safeguard Chinese investments in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, particularly related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
