4-year-old colt Mr. Fisk, trained by Bob Baffert, won the Hollywood Gold Cup, but was pulled up mid-race due to apparent tiredness.
4-year-old colt Mr. Fisk led trainer Bob Baffert to his 10th Hollywood Gold Cup victory, defeating Reincarnate by 2 1/4 lengths in the $200,000 Grade II race at Santa Anita. However, jockey Kazushi Kimura noticed an issue with Mr. Fisk during the gallop-out and pulled him up mid-race, bringing the 4-year-old to Baffert's stable for examination. Trainer Baffert reported no obvious injury, but the colt appeared to be tired.
