Over Memorial Day weekend, Georgia DNR reported multiple boating incidents, including an 18-year-old boat driver who jumped the wake of a large vessel, causing his boat to overturn, and injuring him and a female passenger on Lake Allatoona. The girl suffered a large cut to her head, while the driver injured his left leg and left arm. Authorities also reported two drownings, 25 BUIs, and no boating fatalities.
