Winnipeg's 2024 construction season has begun, with $138.3M allocated to repair local and regional roads, down from $159M in 2023. The city will work on nearly 150 km of road, bridge, and active transportation infrastructure, including projects on Inkster Boulevard and Abinoji Mikanah. Although funds are lower this year, Mayor Scott Gillingham expects spending to rebound to $160M in 2025.
