Social media influencer Bobby Kataria arrested in Gurugram for cheating & trafficking Uttar Pradesh men, promising UAE job but sending them to Laos & forced labour.
Social media influencer Bobby Kataria was arrested by Gurugram Police for allegedly cheating and trafficking two men from Uttar Pradesh. The victims, who paid Kataria around Rs 4-5 lakh, were duped into believing they were being sent to the United Arab Emirates but were instead sent to Laos and forced to work at a fake call centre. The duo managed to escape and were brought back to India by the Indian embassy. Kataria is facing charges under section 370 of the IPC.
