Revolution Bars rejects £125m takeover bid from Nightcap due to its conditional nature and ongoing restructuring.

Revolution Bars has rejected a takeover deal from rival Nightcap, stating that the £125m offer is "incapable of being delivered" due to its high conditional nature. Revolution is currently undergoing significant restructuring, including the closure of 18 venues and a £12.5m fundraising, and has already secured funding from backers, including former Pizza Express chairman Luke Johnson. The company remains open to considering future proposals from Nightcap or other parties, but without additional funding and cost savings from its proposed restructuring plan, Revolution anticipates facing liquidity pressures from Q1 2024 onwards.
