Australia's largest independent pet retailer, PetO, set to triple revenue to $200m after acquiring 66 stores and vet clinics from PETstock. Woolworths acquired a 55% stake in PETstock in Dec 2022, leading to PETstock's divestment of certain sites to gain approval. PetO, with 17 Sydney stores, plans to expand to become a "credible third player" in the market, competing against Petbarn and PETstock.
