Omaha first responders search for, recover a submerged vehicle at Carter Lake, no occupant found.
Omaha first responders are searching for a submerged vehicle at Carter Lake after a fisherman reported finding it. Crews from the Omaha Fire Department, along with Douglas and Sarpy County dive teams, spent much of Monday searching the lake. The vehicle was recovered about three hours later, with no one found inside. Authorities continue to investigate how the vehicle ended up in the water.
