India and France to negotiate Rs 50,000 crore Rafale Marine fighter jet deal on May 30.
India and France will begin contract negotiations for a Rs 50,000 crore deal to acquire 26 Rafale Marine fighter jets on May 30. The high-level French delegation will meet with Indian Defence Ministry counterparts to discuss the Indian Navy's fighter jet deal, aiming to complete and sign the agreement by the end of the current financial year. The Rafale Marine jets will operate from both of India's aircraft carriers, INS Vikrant and INS Vikramaditya.
