Elderly shoppers in Wirral were targeted in theft incidents, with a man stealing a coat from a victim in Birkenhead and a woman stealing a handbag from another victim in St Helens. CCTV and witness enquiries have been conducted, and police have issued images of two suspects believed to have information. Inspector Nicola Hughes urges anyone with information or CCTV footage related to the crimes to contact the police.
