8 Chinese cities added to Hong Kong's Individual Visit Scheme on May 27, increasing eligible cities to 59.

Starting May 27, Hong Kong welcomes eight more Chinese cities to the Individual Visit Scheme (IVS) for trips to Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions. The expansion of the IVS to include Taiyuan, Hohhot, Harbin, Lhasa, Lanzhou, Xining, Yinchuan, and Urumqi brings the total number of cities eligible for the scheme to 59. This move is expected to attract more high-value-added overnight visitors to Hong Kong and promote its tourism industry.
