Band of Brothers actor Alex Sabga-Brady plans to honour his role's legacy by joining fellow cast members in a D-Day parachute jump. Sabga-Brady, who played Cpl Frank Mellet, is also producing a documentary on the group's training for the jump, retracing the real training site of their characters 80 years ago. The 2001 series, created by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg, followed parachute rifle company Easy Company from 1942 to the end of World War II.
