Accra High Court dismisses Nana Oye Bampoe Addo's libel suit against ex-husband Tony Lithur, ruling no justification.
The Accra High Court has dismissed the libel suit filed by Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, a former Minister for Gender, Children and Social, against her ex-husband Tony Lithur. The court ruled there was no justification for the lawsuit, in which Nana Oye claimed her reputation had been damaged by allegations made by Tony Lithur in a divorce petition. The court imposed a GH¢5000 cost on Nana Oye Bampoe Addo.
