55-year-old Richard Benjamin Adams of Rome was arrested for holding his roommate at gunpoint after a drunken 911 call. Adams claimed he did it because his roommate used a curse word. He faces charges of aggravated assault, reckless conduct, and possession of a firearm during the crime. The incident occurred with other people present in the home on Blacks Bluff Road.
