28-year-old Half Moon Bay motorcyclist, Joaquin Dominik Jimenez Alvarado, died in a collision with a pickup truck on Highway 1 near El Granada. The incident, which occurred at Mirada Road, shut down the northbound and southbound lanes for over four hours. The pickup truck driver is cooperating with the ongoing investigation by the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office Major Accident Investigation Team.
