65-year-old woman charged with attempted murder after a domestic violence-related stabbing incident at Wyee, Lake Macquarie on 26 May 2024. The victim, a 67-year-old man, was found with head injuries and a stab wound to his torso and was transported to John Hunter Hospital in serious but stable condition. The accused, Linda Jane Bagnall, was arrested and refused bail, awaiting her next court appearance at Newcastle Local Court in July.
