34-year-old John Tyska of Pittsfield was killed on Saturday evening when his dirt bike collided with a pickup truck driven by Peter Schettini, 53, on West Housatonic Street. The crash occurred around 6:50 PM and resulted in the road being closed for four hours for the investigation and roadway clearance. The incident remains under investigation with no charges reported at this time.
