A 37-year-old driver was caught hooning at 134 km/h in Royal National Park's 60 km/h zone on May 24th at 10:11 pm. The driver, from Engadine, NSW, was driving a Volkswagen Golf when police caught him during speed enforcement checks on Lady Wakehurst Drive. He was issued a $2,794 fine for exceeding the speed limit by more than 45 km/h, his NSW driver's license was suspended for six months, and the registration plates on his car were confiscated for three months.
