34-year-old Elliott Christopher Doyle was sentenced to an 18-month community correction order and 250 hours of unpaid community service work for two counts of assault and one charge of intimidation, following a smoking dispute at a home in Duramana on May 1, 2024. Doyle was under the influence of alcohol at the time and denied all allegations despite evidence presented against him. Magistrate Elizabeth Ellis described the assaults as "quite strong."
