32-year-old Evart man, Dustin Hyden, died in a motorcycle crash in Mecosta County after attempting to avoid hitting a deer in the roadway. The accident occurred on Sunday, May 26 at around 5:17 p.m. at the intersection of 20 Mile Road and 80th Avenue in Chippewa Township. Deputies from the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Office responded to the single-vehicle crash with reported injuries. Hyden was taken to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
