28-year-old right-hander Brad Keller agreed to a one-year contract with the Boston Red Sox on Sunday, six days after being cut by the Chicago White Sox. Keller, who posted a 4.86 ERA in five games for the White Sox this season, will provide the Red Sox with long relief options as they look to strengthen their bullpen. To make room for Keller, right-hander Zack Kelly was optioned to Triple-A Worcester.
