Due to predicted rain and thunderstorms, several Memorial Day parades in western Massachusetts and Connecticut, including Ludlow, Westfield, Agawam, Amherst, Wilton, Hamden, Farmington, and Ridgefield, have been canceled for safety reasons. Despite these cancellations, indoor ceremonies and events are being held in these communities to remember and honor the fallen.
