Dr. Ed Young, senior pastor of Houston's Second Baptist Church, announced his retirement after 46 years. His son, Ben Young, will take over as senior pastor. Dr. Young, who is turning 88 this year, said he is not leaving the church but plans to use his special gifts in a new way. The church has grown from 300 members to over 80,000 weekly members across six campuses.
