Gunmen abducted an unspecified number of travellers on the Ikare-Irun Akoko-Ado Ekiti highway in Ondo state. The incident occurred at Irun Akoko/Imesi Ekiti axis of the road on Saturday at 6pm. The abducted victims are from Irun Akoko, Ikare Akoko, and Ekiti communities. Soldiers and Amotekun corps from Ekiti and Ondo states are searching the forests for the victims.
