The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) claims the trolley crisis in Irish hospitals is "out of control," with 133 patients on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick (UHL) last week. The situation worsened, with 504 patients recorded waiting for beds nationwide. According to INMO Trolley Watch figures, there were 7,287 patients on trolleys in May, representing 22% of overcrowding.
