Nigeria postpones inauguration of tertiary institution governing councils for membership review.
Nigeria's Federal Government has postponed the inauguration and retreat for members of the governing councils of its tertiary institutions, initially set for May 30th and 31st, 2024. The decision follows a Presidential directive for a comprehensive review of the Governing Councils' membership to ensure better representation of the national character. A new date will be announced once confirmed.
