400m of copper cabling stolen in two separate incidents at Bungaree Rec Reserve; matches proceed despite theft. Thieves first struck on May 19th, cutting cables controlling the old lighting system, followed by another theft on May 24th. Both incidents were captured on CCTV, with the thieves using a white Ford Ranger. Despite the thefts, planned football and netball matches went ahead at the reserve.
