Jackson County Sheriff's Office mourns the death of Deputy Christopher Davis, who tragically died in a vehicle crash on May 25th at the intersection of Seymour Rd and Mount Hope Rd in Waterloo Township. Deputy Davis, a native of Jackson County, joined the force in 2022 and received the Sheriff's highest award, the Star of Valor, as well as the Distinguished Service Medal from the Michigan Sheriffs' Association for his actions in a homicide investigation.
