3 injured in Chilton County boat fire: A boat in the Cargile Creek area of Lake Mitchell caught fire on Sunday, causing injuries to three passengers. Phillip L. McCarn, 39, of Hoover attempted to crank the vessel, causing it to burst into flames. All three victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. This is an ongoing investigation by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Marine Patrol Division.
