High school English teacher Mara Naaman at the prestigious Dalton School in the US resigned after being accused of sexually abusing a former student between 2020 and 2022. The allegations emerged in a letter dated May 2, leading school head José De Jesús and board of trustees president Aly Jeddy to inform the school community via email on May 9. Dalton School has filed a police report and hired a firm specializing in harassment and sexual abuse to conduct an investigation.
