2024 Hajj: Two Nigerian pilgrims, Tawalkatu Busare Alako and Muhammad Suleman, have passed away during their pilgrimage in Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Alako died on May 25, and Suleman on May 26 after a brief illness. Their funeral prayers were held at Al-Masjid Al-Haram, and condolences were extended by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria and the Kebbi State Pilgrims' Welfare Board.
