Groupe Ndoum seeks to regain banking license, demands GH¢7.1bn debt repayment from government.

Groupe Ndoum (GN) is working to recover its banking license in a bid to revive operations across Ghana. Founder and CEO Dr. Paa Kwesi Nduom has demanded that the government repay a debt of GH¢7.1 billion owed to his defunct GN Bank, originating from loans used to pre-finance government projects. As part of the 2017 banking sector clean-up and reforms, GN Bank became insolvent after the Bank of Ghana discovered several breaches.
