Ghana's U-17 national football team coach, Laryea Kingston, resigned after the team failed to qualify for the Africa Under-17 AFCON in Morocco, following a 2-1 semi-final loss to Burkina Faso. Kingston, who had been in charge since October 2023, announced his decision to step down a few weeks earlier, managing 17 matches, winning 12, drawing 3, and losing 2, with a goal difference of 54-15.
