Former WWE star Gangrel made a surprise appearance at AEW Double or Nothing, helping Adam Copeland retain his TNT Championship in a brutal barbed wire steel cage match against Malakai Black and the House of Black. Gangrel emerged through the ring during the match, taking out Black's teammates before delivering Impaler DDTs to them. This allowed Copeland to spear Black, securing his victory.
