Former Woodstock mayor Trevor Birtch pleads not guilty in court to sexual assault charges.

Former Woodstock mayor Trevor Birtch pleaded not guilty to sexual assault charges in a London courtroom. The trial, presided over by Superior Court Justice Michael Carnegie, is expected to last four days. Birtch, who served two terms as mayor, entered not guilty pleas for two counts of sexual assault and one count of assault stemming from allegations made between February 14 and December 13, 2021.
