Former PM Dr. Hubert Minnis challenges Michael Pintard for FNM leadership with support from Bannister and Wells.

Former Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis is set to contest the Free National Movement (FNM) leadership race despite many of his former cabinet colleagues endorsing Michael Pintard. Minnis stated he is unfazed by the lack of support from his former colleagues and has the backing of former Deputy Prime Minister Desmond Bannister and former Minister of Health Renward Wells. The FNM convention is scheduled for June 1st.
