Bookings are open for the re-release of Shyam Benegal's "Manthan" in Indian theaters on June 1 and 2, following its successful screening at the 77th Cannes Film Festival. The 1976 film was restored by the Film Heritage Foundation and financed by 500,000 Gujarat farmers who each donated Rs 2. The movie will be available in cinemas across 38 Indian cities, including Mumbai, New Delhi, and more.
