175,000-cubic-meter LNG carrier launched on 27 May in Dalian, China, by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd., set for August 2025 delivery.

A domestically developed LNG carrier with a 175,000 cubic meter payload capacity was launched on 27 May in Dalian, northeast China. The first large-scale LNG carrier built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (DSIC), it measures 295 meters in length, 46.4 meters in width, and 26.2 meters in depth, with a service speed of 19.5 knots. The carrier can dock at most large LNG terminals worldwide and is scheduled for delivery in August 2025 after commissioning.
