Japanese authorities report Chinese ships near disputed Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea for a record 158 consecutive days, setting a new record since Japan took control of the islets in 2012. China considers them Diaoyu Islands. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida has expressed concern over the issue during a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Li Qiang in Seoul.
