Top Chinese Communist Party official, Liu Jianchao, visits Vanuatu to meet with Prime Minister Charlot Salwai, discussing deepening exchanges and mutual learning on governance. The two sides agreed to jointly implement important consensus reached by their countries' leaders and strengthen cooperation in areas such as the Belt and Road. The visit comes as Vanuatu is being courted by China, the US, and Australia.
