Oil giants BP and EOG Resources are discussing a potential joint venture to develop a natural gas field off Trinidad and Tobago's coast. The field contains approximately 1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and, once linked to a BP discovery, the area will be developed to hold 1.5 tcf of gas. The project aims for first gas in late 2026 to supply Trinidad's Atlantic LNG project.
