Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders declared a state of emergency after storms caused damage and killed five people in northern Arkansas. She allocated $250,000 from the Governor's Disaster Response and Recovery Fund and authorized commercial and emergency vehicles to bypass weigh stations until 9th June 2024 for emergency response and restoring power. Governor Sanders plans to visit the impacted areas to offer assistance and expedite resources.
