Amazon Web Services (AWS) plans to invest €2bn in Italy's data center expansion by 2029.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is in negotiations with the Italian government to invest billions of euros in expanding its data center operations in Italy, as part of its cloud service expansion across Europe. AWS initially launched in Italy in 2012 and has plans to invest €2bn by 2029. The new investment is expected to contribute up to 3.7bn euros to Italy's GDP by 2029, following recent investments in Spain and Germany.
