A man and woman were arrested on suspicion of child neglect after two children, aged 3 and 5, were rescued from a house fire in Kings Norton, Birmingham. The fire service arrived at the scene on Wharf Road and took the injured children to hospital. The suspects, a 32-year-old woman and a 37-year-old man, remain in custody, while forensic teams will investigate the cause of the fire.
